The Disney Riviera Resort in Orlando is slated to open in fall 2019 as part of the growing Disney Vacation Club portfolio, and guests staying there will have a new skyway transportation option.

The Disney Skyliner, featuring rides in gondolas similar to what you might find at a ski resort, will connect the Riviera and three other resorts (Disney's Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach) with Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot.

Disney said the Skyliner will give guests a "never-before-seen bird's-eye view of Walt Disney World."

Disney's Minnie Van service is expected to launch this month. Disney World guests will have a new transportation option on the ground, too -- Minnie Vans. According to a photo provided, the vehicles will have a paint job made to resemble Minnie Mouse's red dress with white polka dots.
